Red Bull Mountain Mayhem.

Here's how the Tardis team did in the Red Bull Mountain Mayhem and photos of me competing. This was the first ever 24 hour Mountain Bike Race in the UK. This took place at Trentham Gardens, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (just down the road from where I live). It started at 4PM Saturday 27th June 1998 and ending at 4PM Sunday 28th June. This was based on a tough 11 mile circuit riding relay style . Sorry there's no photo's of the rest of the team but only my cousin came to take photographs. This was a great top class event apart from the rain. There were 4 elite teams then a sports class then a fun class. Overall Raleigh easily won the elite category. My team entered into the Sports class and finished in 16th place and 20th place overall out of 159 teams. I did the first lap (on Saturday) after a run which was a bit tiring. I then did two hours during the night (Saturday/Sunday) and then did a lap near the end on Sunday.
